1. To process private agency applications within three (3) months from the date the complete application is received until the interview is conducted.

2. To inform the decision regarding the private agency within one (1) month from the date of the interview.

3. To process renewal applications for private agency licenses and inform the applicant of the decision within one (1) month from the date the complete application is received.

4. To inform the decision on the establishment of a magazine to store explosives under Section 25 of the Explosives Act 1967 within one (1) month from the date of receipt of complete documents from the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM).

5. To inform the decision on the application to hold a fireworks or pyrotechnic display within seven (7) working days from the date the complete application is received.

6. To inform the decision on applications to import scheduled weapons under the Corrosive and Explosive Substances and Offensive Weapons Act 1958 within one (1) month from the date the complete application is received.

7. To inform the decision on visits from/to prohibited countries within two (2) months from the date the complete application is received.

8. To inform the decision on applications to invite foreign speakers/experts for programmes or activities organized by government agencies within two (2) months from the date the complete application is received.

9. To issue a recommendation on the appointment of foreign representatives within one (1) month from the date the complete application is received.

10. To make a decision on preventive law cases and the arrest date within sixty (60) days.

11. To manage and implement rehabilitation programmes and determine the level of recognition before the expiry of the current term, prior to the Detention Assessment Committee Meeting.
