Foreign media companies are permitted to bring in personnel to fill positions that require foreign nationals.

The Immigration Affairs Division will issue an acknowledgment of receipt for the Foreign Media application to the applicant within one working day after the application is submitted at the counter. Applicants will also be informed if their application is incomplete or does not comply with regulations.

The Immigration Affairs Division will process and provide a decision on the Foreign Media application within 14 working days upon receiving a complete application.
