Application Requirements

  1. The appellant is required to submit an appeal to the Public Order and Security Division, Ministry of Home Affairs.

  2. The appeal must be in the form of an official letter, and a copy of the rejection letter issued by the Inspector General of Police must be enclosed.

  3. The appeal must be submitted within thirty (30) working days from the date of the rejection letter issued by the Inspector General of Police.

  4. In the case of a rejection issued by the Chief Police Officer of a state, you are advised to submit your appeal to the Inspector General of Police within thirty (30) days from the date of the original rejection.

  5. Appellants are also advised to include any relevant details deemed necessary to update or support the information provided in the appeal.

  6. Upon receipt of a complete appeal, the Ministry will issue an acknowledgment and assign the appellant a reference file number such as KDN.S.32/62 PT 17000. The final set of digits will serve as your specific reference number with this Ministry.
